SMW & Associates Inc was founded by Stan Wu, S.E. in 2004.  The office has successfully completed hundreds of projects in California, and has gained a reputation for its innovative engineering and high level of design and services.

We are a small office with immense capabilities.  Our size allows every project to get the full attention by the principal, while our extensive experience and technical skills give us the capability to develop innovative and elegant solutions for the most complex problems.  Through our association with other engineering firms and consultants, we are able to take on large projects while maintaining the exceptional quality of our work.

Stan Wu, S.E.

Stan Wu is a licensed structural engineer in the State of California with over 20 years of experience.  Stan has extensive experience in the design of residential, commercial, institutional and industrial buildings.  He is very knowledgeable in the use of various construction materials including wood, masonry, concrete and steel.  Stan is a highly skilled project manager, and provides superb services for his clients through his technical knowledge, innovative thinking, communication skills and responsiveness.  In addition, Stan also has a graduate degree and work experience in architecture.  His knowledge and understanding of architecture allow him to design structures that compliment the architectural design.
